When it comes to makeup, I wish I could say that I didn’t wear any and that I just walked out of the house looking like I am on the cover of Vogue magazine. Unfortunately, that is not the case. Makeup has been part of my everyday routine for well over a decade, and something tells me it always will be. But, to be honest, I like makeup. I like the transformation and I like seeing myself go from tired mom to “Oh okay, maybe she got at least 6 hours sleep last night.” I am not a makeup artist by any means, in fact I really envy those girls that constantly do their makeup flawlessly. It’s a real skill. I do however appreciate makeup and quality products. I am a creature of habit and when I find something I like I normally stick with it. I have a couple of girlfriends that I would place under the category of “makeup experts” so I have picked up some great product recommendations from them throughout the years. The absolute worst part about makeup is that you pay for what you get. I have tried countless eyeshadows, mascara, foundations etc. and for the most part, the ones I tend to use usually have a bit of a price tag. None the less, I thought I would share what is in my makeup bag!
